19th BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA and 2nd International Wellness-Congress spa concept

- The Beauty- and Wellness-Market in Austria is still growing!

 

Despite the snow and ice on AustriaÂ’s roads 5,247 trade visitors made it to Linz for this yearÂ’s BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA and the 2nd spa concept International Wellness Congress

There were visitors from the Baltic to Bavaria, from all of the Austrian federal provinces, from Hungary, Slovenia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, and even South America – all there to see the outstanding BEAUTY and WELLNESS event in Linz.

 

86% of the visitors who were interviewed expressed their satisfaction with what they found at BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA and plan to attend again in 2005.

 

From 9.30 in the morning until 6 oÂ’clock in the evening the 250 exhibitors and brands at the 19th BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA and at the spa concept Competence Center welcomed numerous trade visitors to their stands spread out over a total of 5,000 sq. metres of exhibition space. They were able to hold in-depth business discussions, demonstrate their latest treatment concepts, and take firm orders.

 

The exhibitor survey that was carried out concluded that the die 19th BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA was, on average, “satisfactory”.

 

The high calibre programme at the 2nd spa concept International Wellness Congress was eagerly attended by beauticians, fitness club managers, physiotherapists, hoteliers, wellness experts and other consultants and industry representatives.

 

There were some 400 congress delegates, who took advantage of the opportunities for professional training or in-depth information offered by the congress itself or the workshops organised under the umbrella of the IFC (International Forum of Cosmetics).

 

In fact this year saw a greater level of interest in the IFC workshops than last year, and a slightly lower level of participation in the spa concept congress.

 

In addition there were 450 make-up and nail specialists who attended the free-of-charge presentations organised as part of the Austrian Make-up and Nail Design Championships.

 

On Saturday February 28th, 2004 the stage was cleared for the 18th Austrian Make-up Championship on the theme of Hollywood Divas of the 50s.

There was plenty of excitement on Sunday February 29th too, with the 18th Austrian Nail Design Championship.

Overview In 2004 the 19th BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA, despite difficult economic conditions, once again confirmed its place as the Number 1 in the market. The 2nd spa concept International Wellness Congresses and the IFC (International Forum of Cosmetics) workshops helped to ensure once again the high calibre of the trade visitors and a positive environment for the exhibitors to do business. So next year the 20th BEAUTY FORUM AUSTRIA will open its doors on September 10th and 11th, 2005!

- The  2007 Swiss Make-up Championship  concerns everything on the subject of
”East meets West“

 

On Saturday 3rd March 2007 there will be a live presentation of the 13th Swiss Make-up Championship on the subject of “East meets West“. The finalists will captivate you with their creativity and entice you into a multi-cultural world of two or even more make-up cultures. Come and join the party and keep your fingers crossed for our finalists!

 

- The 13th Swiss Nail Design Championship – competition at the highest level!

 

The 13th Swiss Nail Design Championship will start on Sunday 4th March 2007 with a brand new concept. There will still only be one Professionals Cup because the Swiss Nail Design Championship will take place at the highest level. Therefore there will only be one championship for professionals! Both techniques of powder-liquid or gel can be used, but the powder-liquid technique will be judged differently. Which technique will be used must be announced on the application to take part. People taking part in the championship  will  no longer be able to exchange models amongst themselves, each participant will receive his or her own model and hopefully convince the judges of his or her skill.
